A trinational research analyst across countries such as Togo, Ghana, and Nigeria where I use research to transform economic data into evidence based information that inform policy, business strategy, and development outcomes across West Africa and beyond.
ABOUT ME
I am Emmanuel Unegbu, a Research Analyst with a BSc in Economics from Central University, Ghana. My work bridges economics, policy, business, and finance across West Africa.
My understanding of research began early as a child in Togo watching my father navigate sudden fuel subsidy reforms in Nigeria that tripled transport costs overnight. That moment taught me what economics textbooks could not: policies made without rigorous research analysis can break families and businesses. Today, I work to make sure decisions are guided research base evidence and not assumption.
I have built research experience across three countries and different institutions Such as TheWorkrate (Kenya), Sterling Business Research and Consulting (Nigeria), and the Africa-China Centre for Policy & Advisory (Ghana), delivering quantitative analysis, policy briefs, and strategic recommendations to stakeholders, executives, and policymakers.
